How we can help
We understand that some people occasionally find themselves in financial difficulty and fall behind with their payments. If you are having payments difficulties please tell us as soon as possible by contacting us on 0844 770 8030 and selecting option 1 our Credit Management Team or by emailing us at creditmanagement@gmacrfc.co.uk. Please ensure you state your GMAC-RFC account number and your name on all email correspondance. Our lines are open 8am to 8.30pm Monday to Friday. We can not help you if you do not contact us.
When you contact us, we will consider your individual circumstances and treat you fairly.
Even if you are not having payment difficulties now but think you may do in the future, we are more than happy to talk to you. You may want to seek further help and advice first. There are many organisations, which offer independent, free debt advice. Their advisors can assess your situation and devise the best course of action for you. Mortgage Rescue Scheme
If you are having difficulty meeting your mortgage repayment requirements and are at risk of becoming homeless you may get help to stay in your home through the Mortgage Rescue scheme.
