Corporate Social Responsibility
Our underlying philosophy is to offer fresh innovative thinking in the way we work and live. Reaching out to our local communities makes good sense to us, and we are always looking for ways to improve quality of life for others through our Community Involvement Programme.
Our employees are actively encouraged and rewarded for following their hearts and supporting local charities. An example of the way that we, as a company, support this is through our Volunteer Time Off (VTO) policy. The VTO policy grants all eligible employees paid time away from work to participate in volunteer activities for eligible registered charities.
Over the last few years, we have worked in partnership with a number of national and local charities to make a difference:
- Habitat for Humanity >>
In 2007 employees took to a building site to help builders prepare a site for affordable housing for low income families. - Outward Bound Trust >>
Through a five year bursary, we are supporting the Trust in helping disadvantaged youngsters improve self-esteem and motivation, and grow as individuals, by enjoying an Outward Bound course. - Bracknell Forest Voluntary Action (BFVA) >>
Through our partnership with BFVA, a charity that provides support to voluntary and community organisations in Bracknell Forest, we aim to raise money for small community based projects, making a difference to many worthwhile organisations.
